To use SAME or NOT for High End Storage Setup ?

Folks

For a Big Benchmark should SAME (Stripe Across ALL Disks) setup of a "DS8300" storage box be considered or NOT?

Storage has 47 LUNs

Each LUN has 8 Disks (Hardware RAID 1+0)

Qs. Should the 2nd Level of Striping be Done across ALL of the 47 LUNs (SAME) or some Optimal Num of LUNs?

Database will be spread out across these underlying 47 LUNs.

O.S. IBM AIX 5.3 Oracle 10.2

NOTE 2 Natures of Transactions i.e. OLTP & Batch will be benchmarked in separate / independent Runs

Application - Banking

Will provide any info needed
