I doubt that anyone else on the list noticed this, but the cute little red biplane that is displayed at most OpenWorlds crashed and was destroyed last week.

The pilot, Sean Tucker, was executing a 7.5g turn and the control stick broke during practice for an airshow.

After flying the aircraft away from houses and towards a pasture, using the trim wheel, Sean bailed out and is okay.

The aircraft "landed" in a field at 250mph.

Sean, obviously, has no experience as a DBA, as every DBA worth his/her salt would go down with the database.

I've met Sean, he's a great guy, but he obviously doesn't have the cojones required to be a DBA.

There's a great picture of Sean standing in front of the wreckage, smiling, holding either a bottle of water or a large container of vodka. It's on AOPA's website.

You can almost make out the word "Unbreakable" right behind him.

Just thought I'd share.
