We are working on that. It can be done with Oracle Advanced Security using kerberos tickets. We have a paper from Oracle on how to accomplish it and have done it in test. I am rushing to get done with work before I leave on vacation but I would be happy to send it to you when I get back on the 17th.

Regards,
Ruth

Subject: Database Users being authenticated in Microsoft AD

Hi there,

Have you ever tried to configure Oracle Enterprise User Security to authenticated users that are logged in the domain by using Microsoft AD?

I know that you have to user Oracle DB connecting to OID that by using DIP uses MSFT AD, but I’m not clear on the details, to you have any documentation on this ?

Can you give any pointers on this?

Thanks and Regards,
