Hello Mladen,
thanks for the clarification ... I will use the docs from the dizwell site
because the Novell docs pointed to by Bryan are indeed for multi-machine
SAN/NAS configurations.
As for the hardware, I will use a PC with 2 processors, 2 GB RAM and 200 GB
HD. This should be sufficient.

The article itself is rather old, as it refers to 2.4 linux kernels but can
still be used.
Of course, having PC large enough for ASM and 2 instances is more expensive
then having 2
normal machines and a shared storage (not AmberWire, it's soooo sloooow).
