ok, these checks are constructed in the OSDs so only the AIX port folks would be able to tell you 100%...unless you can get an Oracle support person to crack into the OSDs that is.  

If I was a betting man, I'd bet you need to add 'noac' to the mount option on the NFS client side.  

BTW, what sort of throughput do you get to this NFS "server" ?
