I tried setting to true. dbwr_io_slaves is missing, but defaults to 0. Tried setting to true and it tells me it wants an integer value. The backup_tape_io_slaves is also missing and defaults to FALSE. Hmmm.

Hi,

There is a note on MetaLink - Note:213161.1 , suggesting that the problems is a mismatch between the backup_tape_io_slaves and dbwr_io_slaves settings, with dbwr_io_slaves being set some number and backup_tape_io_slaves being set to false. The suggestion is to not set dbwr_io_slaves, but mybe setting dbwr_io_slaves to true also works.
