RHEL 4 AS U 2 x86
Oracle 10g R1 (10.1.0.4)

While testing some scripts in a lazy fashion with username / password supplied on the command line (for expdp, exp, sqlplus) I noticed that the username and password were masked from the output of the ps command.

Is this common knowledge or was I just clueless?

thanks,

Paul
