Does anyone have any experience w/ Hammerora? Specifically, getting the
TPC-C stuff working?
I've managed to get it installed on RHAS4 U1, x86-64, with Oracle 10.2.0.1.0. I'm trying to create the TPC-C schema and objects, and it just seems to hang.
Specifics are:
I have two boxes, linoratst2, which has the 'linbench' database on it,
and linoratst1, which has a 10.2 Oracle client and hammerora installed.
SQL*Plus connectivity from linoratst1 to the database on linoratst2 is
working fine. I runthe hammerora GUI, I specify the following on the
"TPC-C schema options" window:
Oracle service name: linbench
System user password <my password for the SYSTEM account on the linbench
database>
TPCC user to be created: tpcc
TPCC user password: tpcc
TPCC default tablespace: tpcctab
TPCC temporary tablespace: temp
Number of warehouses: 10
Before doing this, I created a TPCCTAB tablespace, 20GB, ASSM, autoallocate, and my temporary tablespace is named TEMP. So, I fill out the form and hit 'Ok'. Then, when I click the 'Create TPC-C' icon, the entire GUI just seems to hang.....The GUI never seems to establish a connection w/ the database at all, and no schema or any objects are created. At this point, the only thing I can do is 'xkill' the GUI.
I tried sending mail to smshaw_at_users.sourceforge.net, but it bounced. I'm not sure if he's on this list or not.
Anyone have experience w/ hammerora? Any ideas or thoughts?
Thanks,
-Mark
