Position Description
Job Title: Systems Administrator
Responsibilities:
Build, manage and maintain company systems including production systems, servers, workstations. Provide analysis and resolution of network and computing problems. Install new software releases and system upgrades. Evaluate and install patches and resolve software related problems.
Plan for projects and develop tactics to assure that computer resources
and networks
remain available, reliable and cost effective. Identify computing
requirements, evaluate
alternative and propose cost effective product and service solutions
that will optimize
network effectiveness. Experience with client-server applications.
Trains and coaches coworkers
and provides technical guidance to Westcor's user network.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. BSCS preferred.
3 years systems administrator experience working with Exchange, Linux,
NT Server
Desktop Administration: Windows XP environment
Web Administration
Network Design
Dick Goulet
Senior Oracle DBA
Oracle Certified DBA
