1.2.13 Oracle Universal Installer Does Not Start Up on Windows 2000
Oracle Universal Installer may not start up properly (appear and then disappear) on Windows 2000 with Service pack 4. This is due to an underlying JRE bug. You need to run 'install\win32\setup.exe -J-Dsun.java2d.noddraw=true' to workaround the issue.

hi norman,
i had copied the cd on the disk and from there , i was running setup but
still the problem persists. one things which seemed to be a bug is
SYMCJIT.DLL but i have renamed that also. still wondering and struggling on
the issue.
