Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> re: DATAFILE??
If you have OEM 9.2 (and some other versions), you can look under storage, then right click on your tablespace and click on Tablespace Map. This is very useful for visualizing where your data is and where it ends if you need to shrink your data files. You can also do things like order the list of objects by size and click on the largest to see how it has been distributed. Don't make the mistake of thinking there is useful performance information here, there really isn't (unless you have single-user batch times or maybe some other rare issues). But round-robin data distribution really stands out if you import big tables.
