      Another AIX command that will give you this and much more is (I can run it like the Oracle owner):

prtconf |more

      This will produce the following (truncating to the first lines only):

System Model: IBM,9117-570
Machine Serial Number: 10A819E
Processor Type: PowerPC_POWER5
Number Of Processors: 2
Processor Clock Speed: 1504 MHz
CPU Type: 64-bit
Kernel Type: 64-bit
