In my younger years I remember the scam well.
SQL*Plus was a separately licensed piece of software. It was part of
the SQL Programmer's Pack.
In those days the client was considered to be the tns connection stuff.
If you wanted to do something
with that client, then you needed to buy more stuff, or do ODBC.

Really there's not much difference between Billy and Larry except Larry
has cooler toys. I like the MiG.
