Now I don't use Solaris, but the following works on HP-UX and RedHat Linux so I don't see why it won't work for you:
proc iname=<your-program>.pc oname=<your-program>.c host=c make -f $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/demo/demo_rdbms.mk OBJS=<your-program>.o EXE=<your-program>
