wow, you guys are quick today. 3 people have already approached me for "yelling" at Cary. Uh, look at the email. I did a follow-up where Cary was being addressed.

The only thing I added to the thread was "What? !"

Besides, I wouldn't yell at any fellow member of the Oak Table Network.

And that wasn't yelling anyway...netiquette, right?

I have used SSD extensively for years. In fact, I have an 8 port MG5000 attached to my test system right now. I've been published on the topic before. Old stuff.

My 2 cents: Use it for redo, but only if your lgwr I/O is latent and you've done everything else you can to mitigate that symptom first.
