You should always use 10. Using 2 just shows that you don't understand
binary.
There are only 10 kinds of people: those who understand binary and those who do not.
You wouldn't want to use number system based on the number 1010, would you?

Subject: base 2 or base 10?
Is there any real performance benefit to using base 2 sizes vs. base 10 when dealing with datafiles and extents?
