I want(ed) to use it for a Virtual Machine mini seminar - and as Mr Gogala once wrote: "I am a long time Oracle DBA who started to work with Oracle RDBMS in 1989. At that time, I was introduced to Oracle version 4, on PC/XT. It is very hard to believe that Oracle instance used to fit in only 512 KB of memory. I worked with every major version of oracle RDBMS since then".
Though a can't say I worked with version 4 and onwards, I can say that I was mighty disappointed that I needed 4 extra Mbytes in my 386 20Mhz machine (4 Mb intern) too also install Forms 3 besides my new fresh installed Oracle 6 database. Those were the days ;-)
If not Oracle 6 I could turn to Duke Nukem instead ;-)

One would have to ask why?
I have copies of 5.1.22 for DOS and 6.0.33 for DOS IIRC. I hunted them out just to keep a copy for posterity. Never tried using the copies I have though.

Is there somewhere on the internet a place where it is still possible to download Oracle version 6 or a lower version?
