Yep, 1G per PSAPPSRV process is not uncommon, on the contrary. I wouldn't tinker with the recycle count, except perhaps to increase it such that it doesn't recycle during the day. We found that starting, or worse, spawning, PSAPPSRVs is a rather time and resource consuming activity, at least in 8.45(.11 in our case)
