You can enable them in a login trigger. If that is not good enough you
can enable them like any event in the init.ora. It is probably not too
big a deal for the 10053 event trace, but enabling 10046 system wide
will trace everything, including smon and pmon. I've "heard" people say
that the smon 10046 trace is very illustrative if you want to learn more
about Oracle's internal workings, but I believe there are also
warnings/bug reports about 10046-tracing pmon on metalink.
