Hi Bryan, thanks for that. Is that true even for new connections then? not just failover ones?

Also since we also use jdbc which doesnt use TAF or a tnsnames.ora. What controls the amount ofd time it waits before trying the next entry in the jdbc url.

I read something about tcp-entries2 but I am scratching around a bit here.
