Ron,
Make sure you don't have backups running at the same time - I seem to remember getting that error before when two archive log backups would run at the same time and the first one would delete the archive logs while the 2nd was still trying to back them up.

I am getting the following message after an RMAN backup. No Oracle or RMAN error code is returned. "specification does not match any archive log in the recovery catalog"
I am doing a crosscheck backup and a crosscheck copy.
Did I miss something?
