You can query v$session_wait to see what the session is waiting for.

Hi All ,

on 8.1.6 :

we drop 600 views and it takes 5 ~ 10 mins usually . today, inspite of no changes being done , the same job takes about 1 hour.

i don't know what makes it to prolong.
How and where can i find , why it takes so long ? Expecting ur valuable inputs ... As always.
