I'm working on a design for an Enterprise architecture for backups. and needed some suggestions on folks that have already been thru this process. The goal is to backup from timefinder copies of the database which are mounted on a seperate host. We are trying to architect a solution that works across several hosts (same os obviously) what i am thinking is in terms of a central server that backup copies mount to and are backed up. The archivelogs backups can happen from the base server or be mirrored across and backed up. any one have any experience implementing such an architecture.
