As a start, if you aren't commited to designing the DW one particular way
yet, check out http://www.danlinstedt.com. There's several white papers,
etc available from the site.
FWIW, I've seen of few demos of this implementation from a guy I used to work with many years ago, who is now working for Denver Public Schools. Their implementation looks pretty dang cool.
