Hi Dennis,
I agree this would have been so simple on a Unix or Linux system. Mapping a drive is the closest thing to creating a link that I could come up with but then I don't know Windows very well either.

I have searched and never found a way to do this. On Unix you can fool RMAN by creating the destination as a link. Then when recovering, have a link on the other server that has the same name, but points to a different location. Perhaps there is a similar Windows trick, I just don't know Windows that well.
