Temporary tablespaces do not store any data. Block belonging to
tempfiles are not protected either by redo or
undo. So, temporary tablespace does not fit into this concept. Temporary
tablespaces were created from a
normal tablespace's rib and, therefore, cannot be explained scientifically.
