In metalink, I think only the server forum is monitored by oracle
support. That too


probably by inexperienced folks who know no better than look up an
existing metalink note to vaguely answer your question.
The support folks who did know stuff were probably laid off.



Oracle support is many times worse than what it used to be couple years back.
