You can't be too hard on him and I think banning him for a month is uncalled for. The promo is actually for sending in your copyright page from a current book you own in trade for a new apress book for $10 and you are limited to 1 book. Sort of like the competetive upgrade rebates from software companies. I don't think either of you read the promo well. If you want 1 book it is a good deal.

As you can see, prices that appear when one actually tries to buy things are vastly different from $10.
This "books for $10" promo applies only if you are returning books. Leaving that out qualifies your email as spam. I am extremely annoyed that you are using this forum for such a lousy promo. I am considering asking Steve to ban you for a month, too. Why did you waste my time with a thing like that? Do you wirk for them?
