Re: Specifying default tablespaces for indexes

there is a need, I dont want to backup indexes. I put them in a different tablespace and dont back them up, recovery time shoots up and creating indexes in parallel can be must faster than restoring from some old tape.

There are still managment reasons why you may want to do this
