Q is it possible to perform "sqlplus user/pass_at_db" where the
process has "LOCAL=YES" when viewing the process via "ps -ef"?
what I mean re export the profile is (set your session environment)
export ORACLE_SID=db
export ORACLE_HOME=/oracle
export PATH=$PATH:$ORACLE_HOME/bin
We use hp-ux 11i as our server.
What do you mean by re-export the user profile? Just to clarify my question, is it possible to perform "sqlplus user/pass_at_db" where the process has "LOCAL=YES" when viewing the process via "ps -ef"?
