9.2.0.6 DBUA

We used DBUA to upgrade from 8.1.7.4 to 9.2.0.6 and everything went well except in the POST upgrade steps. Specifically the schema recompile. Oracle hardcoded a serial recompile and it take about 10-12 hours on our machine, where the parallel recompile takes 2 hours. We opened a TAR and Oracle says the only option is to switch to manual upgrade.

We looked at the manual steps and they don't seem too bad, but we were wondering whether anyone has modified DBUA for parallel recompiles or to skip the recompile post step?

Tony
