RAC with DW

Hi Friends,

Could you guys shed some light on best practices of VLDB/Data Warehouses regarding general admin duties like backup and recovery, index reorgs, updateing stats, data loading techniques, any os issues to manage such a large systems(20TB).

I saw some time back there was a discussion regarding putting data warehouse into archivelog/noarchivelog mode, personally I would like to put in archivelog mode, But what is the proven methodology? I like Tim's comments on that...

And RAC gives software and hardware redundancy and HA, Is there other people using RAC with data warehouse?? What are the reasons behind it??
