changing SSL_CIPHER_SUITES?

I edited sqlnet.ora on client and server to change the cipher and the connection fails with the new config with a TNS-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error.

SSL_RSA_WITH_RC4_128_MD5 works, other supported suites fail. What do I have to do to make this kind of change? Thanks.
