Yes, there are other issues with this particular db and I'm investigating them. Primarily, there's been a 'Ioctl ASYNC_CONFIG error, errno = 1' in the trace files and I've sent a request to our sys admin to make sure the dba group has the proper system privs. Based on note Note:139272.1, I suspect that it does not.
I'm primarily wondering if I need to consider removing the SCC parameter from the production 9.2.0.6 databases; I'm going to be patching 4 of them this weekend and I'd hate to see this happen on next Monday morning.
I'm afraid I've never installed the OHPO and my holster of silver bullets ran out a long time ago ... :)
