unix - crontab job, window - batch job, oracle dbms_jobs or ?

unix - crontab -e
# minute (0-59),
# hour (0-23),
# day of the month (1-31),
# month of the year (1-12),
# day of the week (0-6 with 0=Sunday).
#
00 05 * * 2-6 ./yourpathhere/yoursqlscripthere need to set permission correctly on sql



as the owner of the job, sign in
execute dbms_job.submit , I don't remember all the parameters off hand

windows batch I can't help you with....

Personally, I use cron over dbms_jobs where I can...
