WinSql (http://www.synametrics.com/SynametricsWebApp/WinSQL.jsp) works similar, but allows you to check the data as well. Not free though, but definitely cheaper than TOAD. Pro edition is $249, but then you get a free 30 days of Pro when you download. The other thing I like about it is that it's database neutral, for those who have to support more than Oracle.=20

There's a free version, with licensing remiscent of free TOAD. ie. it works for 120 days and you must download again.
