Hi Lex,
I've noticed that Oracle has a series of "Insider's View to Dumps, Crashes,
and Corruptions" classes with you as the instructor available online. Is the
material covered in these online classes similar to the "Seminar Series for
Oracle Server" ?
Thanks,
Sten

Hi Edgar,
these seminars were developed in my team, when I was still in Oracle
curriculum development.
the first one is called "Dumps, Crashes, and Corruptions" and it goes in
quite some detail about generating and interpreting block dumps.
I still teach them every now and then, upon request ... Cheers,
Lex.

One interesting note is that Oracle has seminar series called "Oracle9i Database: Seminar Series for Oracle Server" that will teach to dump and interpret block dumps. You can read more http://education.oracle.co.uk/html/oracle/1001/73/99/d16665gc10.htm
