diskio in v$filestat

hi,
are the values of readtim, writetim, maxiortm, maxiowtm in v$filestat(9.2) reliable? In the past, prior to 9.2 these values were reported much higher than they were supposed to be. According to metalink, it's supposed to be fixed in 9.2 but I'm still seeing slightly higher values when compared to sar -d. I tested this on 9.2.0.4 on Solaris8 with asyncio and syncio.
