Well, it seems HP is not in good shape with its MCSG (it sux). On the other hand HP-UX platform is far from primary one for Veritas. Right now only VCS 3.5 is available fo HP-UX. Veritas support for HP-UX is very bad. It's motivated that they don't have much HP experience as opposed to Sun.
