I'm still working on it for connectivity to PostGreSql. Needless to say, OTS is rather worthless on the subject. They'll help you with the configuration, etc of the service. Beyond that your on your own. I'd recommend he look into the transparent gateway product. OTS is much more helpful there.

As far as I know he needs only to access SQL-Server data from Oracle. He would like to know about the experiences people made using Oracle heterogeneous services for that purpose.

I would be thankful if anyone liked to share his/her experiences, and knowledge about reliability, performance,pitfalls and other =3D "special"=3D20
features in a production environment.
