Did you try selecting from DBA_TEMPFILES as well? The tablespace may even be
dropped. Try seeng if anybody has the file open with fuser or lsof. You can
also try catching it with "strings controlfile.ctl|grep bigfile". If nobody
is
using it, you can remove it.
