Installing RAC 9.2.0.5 on Linux SUSE 8
Followed the 9.2.0.5 Install guide on Linux.
Two nodes
Shared disk subsystem is NFS mounted NetApp filer
-rw-rw-r-- 1 root oinstall 10240000 Oct 2 17:54 CmDiskFile = *---------> quorum file -rw-rw-r-- 1 oracle oinstall 0 Oct 2 10:27 SharedConfigFile
hangcheck-timer
doing: ./ocmstart.sh
cm.log shows on node a:
oracm, version[ 9.2.0.2.0.49 ] started {Sat Oct 2 17:48:11 2004 }^M KernelModuleName is hangcheck-timer {Sat Oct 2 17:48:11 2004 }^M OemNodeConfig(): Network Address of node0: 172.17.0.22 (port 9998)
cm.log shows on node.b: - notice the version difference *------------> = checked the list of installed products and have 9.2.0.5 Cluster Manager = installed ok on node b.
oracm, version[ 9.2.0.2.0.47 ] started {Sat Oct 2 17:48:32 2004 }^M KernelModuleName is hangcheck-timer {Sat Oct 2 17:48:32 2004 }^M
and the error in cm.log is
>ERROR: OemInits(): can't open file (/oradb/CmDiskFile) - 13, tid =3D =
main:1024 file =3D oem.c, line =3D 500 {Sat Oct 2 17:48:32 2004 }^M
fyi: cluster manager runs as root on this system.
Opened a tar with ORacle.
Why wont oracm start on second node?
