My advice to solve this problem...
AFAIK at the end of 1999, when I started using event 10046, there was no = Hotsos Profiler. Therefore I developed my own tool to analyze extended = SQL trace files. It's name is TVD$XTAT. As a consultant I'm not = interested to sell software... therefore the tool was always free of =
charge. Now, the current version is 2.5 years old and, therefore, not = usable for Cary's methodology, i.e. method R (it was, more or less, a = GUI product to replace TKPROF). Anyway, right now I'm working hard on =the new version 4.0. Of course it will support method R... therefore, in = my opinion, you don't need to spend money if you can wait a couple of = weeks (in one month it will be available, at least in beta, in fact I'll = give a series of seminars in Switzerland and Germany where I'll show = it!).
Interested? Just send me an email...
Have fun
Chris
