Configuration is an 8i database in Archivelog mode on a Windows 2000 server.
I've been asked to switch the log archive destination to a different server. Is this simply a matter of changing the log_archive_dest parameter in the init file, and then shutting down and restarting, or are there any "gotchas" I should beware of?
