I did not see any note saying you have to go to 9.2.0.5 first, just that
when/if you do you will have to reapply the patches for alert #68.
Two weeks ago I applied patch 3811887 to my test database server (9.2.0.4 on HP Tru64 UNIX) and patch 3835781 to my test web server (1.0.2.2.2 on Linux) with no problems. I am doing them in production right now.
