ORA-00001: unique constraint (PERFSTAT.STATS$SQL_SUMMARY_PK) violated

In case you come across this issue - its covered in the Metalink forums:

http://metalink.oracle.com/metalink/plsql/ml2_documents.showDocument?p_database_id=FOR&p_id=305300.995 Subject: Primary Key Violated in statspack table re: bug 2784796

Got hit by this one Friday evening - after a 9.2.0.4 to 9.2.0.5.3 and going from cursor_sharing=FORCE to cursor_sharing=SIMILAR. This bug is not platform specific, but I hit it on w2k adv svr sp4.

hth.
