In $ORACLE_HOME/dbs there is a file called lk<SID>. I wanted to find out more details about it. In Metalink there is a forum post that says "Please refer to note <Note:50594.1> which explains the use of this file.". But there is no note 50594.1 on Metalink.
Does anybody know the correct note number?
This is 9.2 on HP_UX 11i.
