At least you got yours running... I am trying to patch on Linus no Rac or
ASM, everything is down and I have quite a few ocssd.bin things running.
and I can't get things to stop... It is weird because I don't have them
running on my Sun box. Have a tar open with Snoracle.

Hi,
We are running patch 10.1.0.3.0 on Win2k and it is running >2-3 hrs
without error on step "setting up rdbms required support files patch
10.1.0.3.0"
Is this nor mal or something fuzzy is going on?=20
I can see orawsfix9.exe taking 2-3% cpu constantly
