nice find.

one could further (complicate?) limit it by specifying that the stripe size of the resulting raid volume was a multiple (integer) of the db_block_size.

the next article down, Robert Freeman misses on the chunk size. 10 MB for a chunk size? I've heard of sizes of (4 MB, 16 MB) chunks for the memory allocations, but none of this base ten stuff. Makes me think that he didn't actually run the commands and see what came out after oracle applied its rounding biases to his input.
