Ah, here's a thought for you. A thought which will convince you about how true my statement was:

You see:

I'm a former Oracle employee. I was made Educator of the Year 2003.

Cary is also a former Oracle employee. He has been named Author of the Year 2004. Yep, it's true. He, too, is now an award-winner.

Now, we all know that I can't really teach and Cary can't really write, so the awards are of course nonsense.
